MIL

It’s an interesting experience to have my MIL here with us. She came in several days ago, and it’s different than I’d expected. She was always imposing her ways on her children, from behaviour, food, religion to random, petty things. She’s on drugs, my husband can be very straightforward. Indeed, her box with prescribed pills and capsules is not tiny. We assume that after the funeral she started taking something to lift her mood, which apparently suits her well. She stopped being meddlesome, labile and shrewish, or at least that’s what we’ve been experiencing this week. We haven’t heard a word about Radio Mary in our house, either. That’s good. Extremely unusual of her, but good. How long can it last? Long, please?
